Trip Itinerary

Set sail on a week of island-hopping exploration aboard a luxurious 118-foot private motor yacht, where e-mountain biking or acoustic mountain biking and relaxation meet in one of Europe’s most stunning destinations.

Day 1

Welcome to Trogir, Croatia. Sail to Šolta Island. Warm-up Ride.

Our journey begins in the historic town of Trogir, a charming small island recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, conveniently located just 10 minutes from Split International Airport. We’ll check into the yacht after lunch and set sail for Šolta Island, famous for its honey, olive oil, and red wine. Before dinner, enjoy a warm-up ride through the island’s scenic landscape, passing dry stone walls, olive groves, and fig trees, with the fragrant scents of sage and rosemary filling the air. The ride culminates with a downhill stretch to the sea, where our yacht awaits in a picturesque harbour town, the perfect setting for a relaxing evening on board.

Day 2

Sail to Hvar Island. Ride Jelsa.

Morning cruise to the island of Hvar and the town of Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in Europe which was settled by tribes as early as 3500 BC. Today’s ride is to nearby Jelsa, a small village on the sea known for its slow-paced Mediterranean lifestyle and the best ice cream in Dalmatia. Look for the Stari Grad Plain, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring ancient Greek agricultural layouts. We will spend the night in the Stari Grad harbor.

Day 3

Ride Hvar Island. Sail to Korcula Island

The interior of Hvar Island is known for its olive groves, rolling vineyards, and vast lavender fields. Today’s ride will take us inland, pedalling up, up, and away from the harbour in Stari Grad. This afternoon we’ll cruise to the island of Korčula stopping for a swim from the boat.

Day 4

Ride Korcula. Sail to Vis Island.

Today’s ride starts on coastal trails, then some asphalt and gravel roads to the archaeological site of Vela Spila and its incredible rock formations. After a coffee stop at the harbor we’ll continue on more singletrack back to the ship anchored in the historical village of Vela Luka. Late this afternoon we’ll sail to Vis Island.

Day 5

Ride Vis Island

Awake in beautiful Vis town on the island of Vis, the furthest island on the Dalmatian archipelago and one of the most beautiful and remote with diverse terrain for mountain biking. After a traditional lunch we ride back to the ship and spend the night in the harbor.

Day 6

Sail to Brač Island. Ride Brač Island.

While eating breakfast we cruise to Milna on the Island of Brač. Today is the trip’s longest ride and we start with a big climb to the highest peak of the Adriatic islands past olive groves, herb meadows and karstic formations to the 780 m high Vidova Gora with beautiful views of the mainland and Bol and the iconic Zlatini Rat Beach, one of Europe’s most beautiful. The descent is technical at first but then get more flowy, to the seaside town of Postira where we spend the night.

Day 7

Sail to Trogir. Ride Čiovo Island.

This morning we enjoy our last cruise back to Trogir. Once in Trogir our last ride will take us across the bridge to Čiovo Island, often covered in flowers and the aromatic scent of wild herbs hangs in the air. Today’s ride is easier along gravel roads and some singletrack with wonderful views over the sea. This afternoon we’ll have time to relax in Trogir before our last night’s festivities.

The Big Mountain Bike/Cruise in Croatia was a blast. The small ship cruise was just the right size. Do not expect to lose weight on the trip, despite all the riding you do, as the food they provide is amazing. The riding is mostly on jeep roads and low traffic roads. There were a few single-track trails that were very rocky and steep. I would rank them as advanced trails. There were options to go around them or walk. I would definitely recommend using an e-bike as there is lots of climbing. I wish I would have taken advantage of the massage therapist on board more often!

Trip of a lifetime. Awesome yachting experience, scenery and staff. Went as a lone traveller and came back with so many friends. Highly recommend the e-bike hire as the climbs are brutal so you can enjoy the experience.

Croatia amazing experience! I had heard this trip (Croatia) was amazing… and it was even better than I thought! The boat crew were great and the food on board was delicious. The guides were really knowledgeable, incredible riders and fun to hang around with. Croatia… Wow! One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen, stunning views ancient cities and the most incredible water you’ll ever swim in.
