What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register for a trip or subscribe to our newsletter.
When registering for a trip using our website ridebig.com, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, age, email address, mailing address, phone number and credit card information (if paying by credit card). As well, in your personalized 'Client Terminal' we gather information needed as it pertains to your trip, such as and not limited to; riding experience and fitness, date of birth, flight and travel information, rooming preferences, travel medical insurance details, emergency contact, recent injury history and immunizations and known allergies and dietary preferences.
What do we use your information for?
Any information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
To process transactions: Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
To send periodic emails: The email address you provide, will be used to send information and updates pertaining to the trip you register for, in addition (and only if you subscribe); occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include an unsubscribe link at the bottom of all our emails.
To share with trip leaders: When needed, personal information provided, such as, and not limited to; rider experience, travel information, medical details and rooming preferences will be shared with our destination guides and leaders as needed to execute a safe trip.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. Only authorized Big Mountain employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters allow you to opt out of further mailings.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, required due to medical emergency, or serving you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.
