Switzerland is a place with gigantic mountains, stunning views and a network of lifts and trails like nowhere on the planet. It's just as you'd imagine, but better. Big Mountain is the pioneer of all-mountain and DH rides in this dreamy mountain bike destination. Each year we uncover more nuggets that we can't wait to show you. No matter if you are a seasoned European traveler or a first-timer in the Alps, join us for the riding adventure of a lifetime.

Alpenrock: DH

This is the ultimate DH trip. Out of the gate we shuttle up a quiver of unknown descents in the Verbier area before riding the bike park. Then it's off to Italy for a day of lifts and then more unknown backcountry descents further up the Rhone Valley. You'll ride trails that many locals don't know about; The Brazillian, Rolling Orgy, Medieval Flow and Goldilocks. Finally we wrap up the trip in Zermatt, with lift-accessed riding that's comparable to Mavericks for surfers or Alaska for skiers. Alpenrock will take you to another level.

The area boasts a ridiculous network of lifts, cog railways, trains and endless big mountain singletrack. Be prepared for jaw-dropping views at every turn and truly mind-blowing riding. Swiss Bliss is categorized as all-mountain, with a much greater emphasis on downhill than uphill. The beauty of this trip is that you can opt to ride more, or less, each day.

Cloudraker: all-mountain

This trip has become a classic and a must-do for passionate riders. It's no wonder, if you dream of getting off a lift high in the Alps, climbing on gorgeous singletrack for an hour and more to a high pass at 2500 meters then to roll downhill for, oh, an hour or more on the sweetest singletrack that you've ever ridden, then this is your trip. We'll gaze out at Mont Blanc from a little stone hut above Verbier, rip singletrack in the shadow of the Matterhorn and ride so much fine singletrack that you'll wonder what hit you.
